Not long after I started working regularly as the American Banjo Museum’s Community Outreach and Education Coordinator I began putting together a new youth program. “Banjo Roots” gives an overview of what was considered for many years, America’s instrument. I was in the middle of a video presentation when who would hop into the scene with me, but my banjo hero himself: Kermit!
So now when students, young and old, attend a “Banjo Roots” presentation they will get to see a historic overview of the banjo featuring Kermit the Frog! My greatest thanks goes out to all who made this possible: Karen Falk, Heather Henson, Matt Vogel, Debbie McClellan and of course, Kermit!
