To end the DECADE, I was invited to be part of Oklahoma City’s ‘Opening Night’ celebration. The fourth floor of Metro Library’s downtown location was a party. Four hours. Four shows.
I brought it all: banjo, accordion, comedy and video clips all mixed together. The library also provided a baby grand piano for what led to a memorable “Golden Girls” sing-along to end each show.
Thanks to Arts Council Oklahoma City for having me. The audiences were great and it was a fun way to end the year and start 2020!
Mandatory bee appearance Weapons of mass irritation. The most educational, entertaining, promotional, pyramid scheme. Projection of large animated gif pulled from internet- sparing no expense. Forgetting the words to Auld Lang Syne, I stared at an audience member for 45 minutes without blinking until everyone just left. One of my better shows. Broadway level advertising.
