They say you can never go home. But on Tuesday, November 8th I did. Breaking that rule lead to a great outcome. We ended up raising around $1300 for the family of SGT Mycal Prince a Minco Police officer who was killed in Afghanistan earlier this year.  Ferguson Buick/GMC of Norman Oklahoma added another $1,000 to the cause bringing it to $2300.
Thanks to Deana Walje and all of the Minco Chamber of Commerce who put on a great chili dinner and to all who came out to support Prince’s sweet family. We must continue to take care of them.

I spoke at Chickasha High School a few days back. They were looking for a key-note speaker for the regional FCCLA meeting.  What goes good with FCCL & A? Me with a banjo, singing about Oprah. Obviously.
I had a great time and loved meeting all the students. High schoolers can be a tough audience sometimes, but those kids rock.
