New Album: Lucas Live!

Share

“THERE WILL BE BANJO: Lucas Ross LIVE at the Oklahoma Opry” will release December 3 but can be pre-ordered November 12. The aim was to make an album that played like you were at the entire show therefore the tracks blend and flow to the next seamlessly, giving you the same feeling as the audience member who thought “I paid money to see this guy?”

I’m thrilled to have a live recording- I’m even more thrilled to have be able to record LIVE at the Oklahoma Opry with their stellar band!
Over three different dates in the summer/fall of 2022 I hosted the Oklahoma Opry and performed a mixture of my own originals, a few songs with my wife and a handful of my favorite tunes including “The Mississippi Squirrel Revival” by Ray Stevens.

The album includes 24 tracks of music and comedy. The goal was to have it play like you were at the show- one song flowing to the next bit. I could not have done it with out the great people from the Oklahoma Opry especially Cindy and Terry Scarberry and Kelcie Lee!

The Oklahoma Opry Band members are:

Terry Scarberry – Electric Guitar, Zach Sutton – Keys, Dustin Jones – Acoustic Guitar, Dave Copenhaver – Bass, Rich Martin – Drums, James Keys – Drums, Howard Barnard – Steel Guitar, Cindy Scarberry – Vocals

My wife, Aubrie, is also featured singing two of our original songs as well as a John Denver cover!
